陳侃（ちんかん：1489－1538）は浙江省?県の人で、尚清王の冊封正使（さくほうせいし）として1534年（嘉靖13）に来琉。陳侃の『使琉球録』は冊封使が帰国後、琉球出使に関する記録として刊行した … 『冊封使録』の嚆矢である。以後数多く刊行された『冊封使録』の内容はこの『使琉球録』に準じたものが少なくない。写本は冊封に関する事柄を記述した「使事紀略」、琉球に関する群書の異を正した「群書質異」、航海神である天妃の霊験を記述した「天妃霊応記」、そして琉球の方言を表記した「夷語」などからなるが、誤字・脱字・衍字が多く、後に訂正・補筆が行われている。 Chen Kan (1489-1538) of Zhejian in Yin county, China, came to Ryukyu in 1534 on an investiture mission to appoint King Sh? Sei.Chen Kan’s “Records of Ryukyu” were used as the start of “Records of Investiture Missions from China” when the investiture missions had returned home. Edited by Sai, On in the same year, this document was released around 1751, presumably to make it easier for the Chinese to understand its original contents, of which included in detail the uses of wood, academic opinions on the locations of forests and ways to determine the conditions of forests from a distance. This book is still held in high regard today. According to the contents, Chin, Kai and Rin, Kyou have been drifting at sea in a waterchest but Rin, Kyou has passed away before reaching Iriomote Island. The letter asks for clothes and a coffin to be given to Rin, Kyou as well as a burial. They also requested for the metal nails to be returned after the waterchest has been burnt. 乾隆50（1785）年に西表島上原村に漂流した福建省泉州府同安県の陳戒による漂流報告書兼宗門改め書である。宛先不明。冒頭に「唐人證文弐枚内壱枚宗旨證文・壱枚死人葬禮」とあるが、内容 … と合致しないように思われる。また、八重山島蔵元で保管していた控え書きである。内容によると陳戒らは、前年6月にアモイを出帆し、今年の12月に山東省に到着したものの、12月11日に大風に巻き込まれ、船は転覆した。陳戒は林共とともにどうにか「水櫃」に入り海上を漂っていたところ、林共は寒さと飢えのため死亡。陳戒のみようやく八重山に漂着したということである。また、陳戒が中国人の服装を着た「南蛮和尚」（キリシタン宣教師か？）ではないということを述べている。宮良殿内文庫139号、140号文書は関連史料である。 This is a report or a religious census by Chen Jie in 1785 who drifted ashore Uehara Village on Iriomote Island from Fujian Province in China. The addressee is unclear. The list of contents at the beginning seem to be different to the actual contents. Also, it has the characteristics of memos kept by the Yaeyama Island Kuramoto (Administration). According to the contents, Chin Kai and others left Amoi in June the year before and arrived in Shang Dong Province (China) in December this year but suffered a shipwreck on 11 December due to strong winds . Chen Jie and Lin Gong climbed into a waterchest and have been drifting at sea. During the process Lin Gong died of hunger and cold so Chen Jie drifted ashore Yaeyama by himself.
